Marrakech

My Mom invited me and my sister to Marrakech to spend some holidays in a "new" country. I've never been here before.

Marakech's a beautiful city. Everywhere are scents, noises and colours. It's a typical oriental place but in a other way it isn't (for me) 'cause before I've seen this place I didn't like the orient that much... I just feel good here :)
On the other hand I haven't seen any oriental city before. I've just seen some places around the hotels in Egypt and Tunisia and as a blond little baby girl you don't feel very well if everybody around you wants to talk to you. I couldn't understand them so I was a little bit... äh... confused. Maybe that's kind of a trauma.

Haha. Sounds weird.
I'm not good in describing feelings in english.

That's my Mom :)

Playground

I'm so fascinated of this tilt-shift method. It seems like everything in this video's miniature but that's just a optical illusion. The videos are very often taken out of the daily life with real people and objects. The clue is that the "mainthing" in the video's clear and the rest, usually the edge, is blurred. So the viewer gets the feeling, everything's very small.

For me, one of the best tilt-shift-film-makers is definitly Keith Loutit. I love his videos, they're like a playground. A playground for adults :)

Never seen the light of day

In summertime we always go into our little river next to my village to take a refreshing bath. Its beautiful down there, one of my favourite places on earth (if I'm not gonna see something better)
Last june I met some friends there and we had a nice chat and afterwards we went in the river to cool down a little bit (it was incredibly hot that day). I had my camera new and played a little bit with all the options. So this is the result

Tacheles

Berlin's one of my absolutly favourites cities. Actually it IS my favourite city so I went there about seven or eight times. Can't remember how many times exactly ^^

In Berlin there's an old buiding, called "Tacheles". It used to be a shopping mall. Now, a lot of artists have their studio in there and you can walk through the whole building and watch them "doing arts" :)
Melina and I went there in May. It's just perfect to take some nice pictures 'cause all the walls are full of graffiti, tags and other street art stuff.

It's raining

So it's fall. It's getting colder and colder outside, it's almost dark at eight o' clock and everything gains a little bit of a melancholy "taste". I really like this. Folish summer is gone, made place for deeper thoughts and moments. So that's why I post this video. The atmosphere in there's just great, kind of depressive and desperated.

Just enjoy

Exercise

Haha. I've got some time left and in the beginning it's always easy to post some stuff and that's why i just do it :)

From august to january i visit a photoworkshop and two weeks ago we made this. It was a simple exercise to train the eye for motifs.

I take photos with my Canon EOS 400D. Someday I'll may gonna learn how to work with an analog camera. That would be great!
